Ambassador and Principal Stylist
Mathew Soobroy is our much respected Salon Ambassador and Principle Stylist at the Percy Street salon. In addition to his burgeoning list of both long-standing and newer clients, he is well loved within celebrity circles, having styled Felicity Jones, Claire Foy, Jude Law, Johnny Lee Miller, Lily James and make-up guru, Bobbi Brown. Mathew has worked at Charles Worthington Salons for 15 years and in 2003 successfully managed the launch of our Charles Worthington New York salon. His easy-going manner and styling talent make him a popular choice for consumer and trade press, as well as many well-known actors and actresses.
A Principal Stylist at Percy Street, Bill has been with Charles Worthington Salons for an impressive 19 years. An experienced and talented colourist, Bill has qualified as both a Colour Degree and Blonde Expert. He is also skilled at wig cutting, which he has undertaken for the Look Good Feel Better charity. Bill’s career highlights include working on stage with Charles at high-profile industry events, and representing the Charles Worthington brand in Asia, UK, Europe and Ireland as an educator. Citing Alexander McQueen as his style inspiration and Chocolat as his favourite film, Bill is a popular choice with his loyal clients and fellow stylists alike.
Senior Master Stylist
With over 20 years at Charles Worthington Salons, Des is one of the longest-standing and most experienced Charles Worthington team members. He is Senior Master Stylist at Percy Street and the House of Charles Worthington. He is a qualified Blonde Expert, Colour Degree Expert and a Senior Educator. Des’s clients, many of which have been coming to him for years, enjoy his easy-going Irish charm and his spot on interpretation of their hair needs. Originally from Belfast, and currently living in the city’s trendy London Bridge, Des enjoys playing the cello in his downtime.
Senior Master stylist
Linda is Senior Master Stylist at our Percy Street salon and boasts over ten years at Charles Worthington Salons. With an innate sense of style herself, Linda’s hairdressing philosophy is that ‘great hair completes any outfit’, and she enjoys all aspects of cutting, colouring and styling. As well as managing a loyal and long-standing client list, Linda has worked closely with Charles for TV and magazine shoots, styled hair backstage at London Fashion Week and the red carpet at BAFTAs, and travelled internationally with the Charles Worthington Art Team. Linda comes from County Clare in Ireland, and loves yoga and travelling in her spare time.
Senior Master Stylist
Jess is Senior Master Stylist at the Percy Street salon, having worked for Charles Worthington Salons for over eight years. Known for her bubbly nature, Jess believes strongly in making the best of your hair ‘as it’s the only fashion that you wear every day’. Jess is a qualified Colour Degree Expert and Racoon and Gold Locking system Extension Specialist, and has worked with Charles on ITV’s This Morning. At the Charles Worthington Salons Awards, she was awarded ‘Best of the Best’ and ‘Star Quality’ trophies.
Senior Master Stylist
With over 12 years at Charles Worthington Salons, Johanne is an experienced Senior Master Stylist and Apprentice Training Manager at our Percy Street salon. She is a Volume, Colour Degree and Balmain Hair Extension Expert. As part of the Creative Team she has really enjoyed styling red-carpet hair for BAFTA. A skilled colourist and stylist, Johanne loves combining the optimum colour and cut to give her clients the best possible results. From Dublin originally, Johanne now lives in South-West London and enjoys walking her dog in between her busy hairdressing schedule.
Fiona is Master Stylist at our Percy Street Salon, and has been at Charles Worthington Salons for over nine years. Her career highlights include being part of the Art Team backstage at the BAFTAs and London Fashion Week, and teaching in India and Greece in her role as a Charles Worthington Educator. She is the ultimate Charles Worthington ‘friendly professional’, and has a well-established, loyal client list. Fiona counts Suki Waterhouse and Beyonce as her style icons.
Master Stylist and Salon Manager
Anthony brings 16 years of experience to Percy Street and sees his role as Manager as a career highlight alongside his red carpet styling. Anthony is a great listener who has particular expertise in curly hair and blow-drying. He always believes that if his clients ‘likes it this time, next time they will love it even more’. Currently living in Potters Bar he cites David Beckham and Jennifer Lopez as his style icons. His favourite film is Green Street and on his down time he loves watching his beloved Arsenal.
Russell is Senior Stylist at our Percy Street salon and has been with Charles Worthington Salons for over ten years. Russell loves being based at the Percy Street salon in London’s Fitzrovia, and is passionate about all aspects of hairdressing, enjoying cutting and colouring in equal measures. He enjoys socialising and keeping fit in his downtime and is also famed in the salon for his sharp men’s cutting skills.
Senior Stylist and Deputy Salon Manager
Becky is a Senior Stylist and Deputy Manager at Percy Street. She has been at Charles Worthington for over eight years. Becky is skilled at colour and styling and believes, “you wear your hair everyday so you should take care of it and feel fabulous”. Known for really spoiling her clients they have come to value her aftercare advice and styling tips. Aside from becoming a Deputy Manager, Becky’s career highlights include being on This Morning with Charles and styling backstage at BAFTA. When she’s not in the salon Becky lives between London and Ruislip and loves all forms of shopping, fashion and travel.
Nick is Stylist at the Percy Street salon, providing exemplary levels of service to his clients. Nick's hairdressing philosophy is that 'beautiful hair allows you to radiate your beauty both inside and out'. Nick excels in creating beautiful Balayage, Ombre and highlighted Colour-Contouring Techniques. He loves classic styles to fashion-forward hairdressing to the Avant Garde. Nick enjoys yoga and loves to travel and hopes to fulfil his bucket list wish to trek the Grand Canyon before he's thirty.
Kat is a successful Stylist, whose clients have loyally followed her since she graduated three years ago from her apprenticeship at Charles Worthington. Kat has a refreshing approach to hairdressing and is undaunted by a creative challenge, believing that “your hair is your most powerful fashion accessory”. Her career highpoints have been qualifying as a Stylist, becoming a Trainee Salon Manager and assisting the Creative Team.
Fran has recently returned to Charles Worthington as a Graduate Stylist. She completed her apprenticeship here so she has the full CW know how. She loves fashion and setting new trends as part of the creative team. Her favourite moment at CW so has been helping Katie on This Morning. She enjoys balayage, and loves cutting shorter styles, bobs and pixie cuts.
Over the last four years Tasha has graduated from apprentice to Graduate Stylist. So far, her career highlight has been helping Katie on This Morning. She loves learning about the latest fashion trends and has a modern approach to hairdressing. She loves playing around with new colours and making her own tones. She gives the full CW treatment, spoiling her clients and advising them on how to maintain their hair at home.
